Our family’s “Go-To paradise for Five Years”

Punta Cana has been our top choice for family vacations over the past five years, and I am grateful to my in-laws for researching and comparing options_ ensuring that every trip, with kids and friend in tow, has been nothing short of wonderful.

The sun and sand here have become the backdrop of our children’s happiest, healthiest childhood memories, while the adults get to unwind and escape the grind of daily life. Best of all, it’s surprisingly affordable, making it an easy pick for us year after year.

This time, we stayed at Ocean EL Faro Resort, where the sunshine was as generous as ever. The only downside was the seaweed covering much of the beach, making swimming less ideal as past years experience, though strolling barefoot along the shore, feeling the ocean breeze, was still lovely.

The food was decent, and given the reasonable cost, it’s hard to complain too much.

But what truly made the trip special was simply being together - sharing laughter and stories under the Caribbean sky. These moment, simple yet priceless, are the ones we ‘ll cherish long after the vacation ends.
