上海外灘夜景
炎熱的八月，閃電走訪上海五晚六日，自行遊兼自駕蘇州周邊——同里古鎮與無錫影視基地。行程緊湊但充滿內容，值得留下深刻印記。
第1天：抵達上海，辦理入住市中心的和平飯店，安頓後稍作休息 。午後於繁華的南京東路散步，感受都市風情與商店街景；傍晚品嘗道地本幫小吃，體驗當地人間煙火風味；夜晚前往外灘，沿江漫步再欣賞璀璨夜景。

前往田子坊與新天地，感受上海歷史的痕跡與創意產業的活力交融，在老洋房與創意店鋪間漫遊，欣賞街頭藝人的表演與特色小店的巧思；最後享受一頓視覺上極為考究、擺盤華麗但口味不是我的一杯茶😆，當作一段有趣的美食插曲。

太原 ,普祠、文化遺產的平遙古城,王家大宅,小西天、雲丘山景區、塔爾坡古村, 臨汾縣,洪洞,太原….
平遙城內商鋪
往日的'銀號 , 如現今的銀行 ,
是古老的、網紅
雁門關, 應縣木塔(千年古蹟),雲關石窟,最後五台山等等名勝古蹟之精華之旅, 體驗獨特的珍貴文化。
隰縣小西天…… 是一處歷史悠久且保存完好的精美佛教彩塑藝術，具有三百餘年的文化遺產，留下給後人的驚喜和一位天主教友的我也嘆為觀止，值得欣賞。
「問我祖先何處來，山西洪洞大槐樹」——這句民謠背後，是一段跨越半個中國的強制遷徙史。
起因：戰亂後的國家戰略
元末明初，中原（河南、山東、河北等地）飽經戰亂、災荒與瘟疫，人口銳減、土地荒蕪。而山西因地勢險要，戰亂較少，風調雨順，人口稠密。明太祖朱元璋為恢復經濟、鞏固邊防，決定從山西強行遷民到各地。
集中點：洪洞縣大槐樹
官府在洪洞縣廣濟寺旁的漢代古槐下設局駐員，強行將晉南、晉東南百姓集中登記。相傳移民皆在此辦理手續，然後被反綁雙手、串聯成隊，在官兵押解下踏上未知的遠方。這棵大槐樹與樹上的老鸛窩，成了背井離鄉者回頭能看到的最後一眼故鄉景象。
分佈：18個省500餘縣
從洪武到永樂年間，近50年內共計18次大規模遷徙，移民被分發至今天的河南、山東、河北、北京、安徽、江蘇、湖北、湖南、甘肅、寧夏等18個省市的500多個縣。他們或屯田開荒，或充實京師周邊，構成了明初人口重建的基礎。
文化印記：至今可循的遺傳
為了防止逃跑，移民被反綁雙手，久而久之形成了「背手」的習慣；長途跋涉中，需要解手大小便，「解手」便成了「上廁所」的代名詞。更傳奇的是，移民被用刀在腳小趾上做記號，據說大槐樹後代的腳小趾甲都是復形（兩瓣）。至今，許多北方家庭仍口耳相傳「小腳趾甲兩瓣的就是老鄉」。
精神意義：共同的根
大槐樹早已不存，第二代、第三代也已成枯枝，但它成了全球華人「尋根」的精神圖騰。每年清明，數十萬後裔回到洪洞祭祖，那份對故土的眷戀，跨越600年依然鮮活。
“一座雁門關，半部華夏史”～
雁門關的歷史典故堪稱華夏歷史的缩影，集戰争、和平、忠義與家國情懷於一體 ，也是萬里長城的一段。
名稱由来
因两山對峙如門，大雁南飛其閒而得名。
唐代正式得名，原址古稱勾注塞，因山随關改名，此地後I稱雁門山。
金戈鐵馬的邊塞要點
戰國李牧，趙國名将，大破匈奴十萬餘骑，保邊境十餘年平安。
秦，蒙恬率三十萬大運出塞馬驅逐匈奴，並主持修築‘’萬里長城‘’。
漢衛青、霍去病、李廣多次從雁門出擊，重創匈奴，李廣因此被譽為飛将軍。
隋楊廣曾被突厥圍困，後以疑兵計解圍
北宋楊家将，楊業在此屢立戰功，最终因援兵不力，重傷被俘绝食殉國
***民族融合的见证
昭君出塞：傳说王昭君在此出塞，因彈奏琵琶感落南飛大雁，故有“落雁”之譽。
邊塞商道：亦是重要商贸通道，蔡文姬歸漢、晋商“走西口”都曾穿行于此。
雁門關不 僅是軍事要塞，更是两千餘年来華夏精神的重要象征。
2026 ～有機會隨西馬旅遊團到此冷門觀光景點，有幸。
雲崗石窟是北魏王朝為鞏固政權，將統治者神化為「當今如來」的皇家工程。它集「馬識善人」傳奇、帝王與佛陀的巧妙轉化以及多元文化交融於一身，是世界文化遺產中的一顆明珠。

雲崗石窟的開鑿始於一個極具傳奇色彩的典故。公元年，高僧曇曜奉詔進京，恰逢文成帝拓跋濬出巡，令人驚奇的是，皇帝的御馬竟徑直上前銜住了曇曜的袈裟。文成帝將此異象視為「馬識善人」
其後皇家政治用石頭雕刻的政教合一聚合成雲崗石窟的誕生，也是北魏統治者將佛教與皇權緊密結合的產物，旨在從精神層面鞏固其統治。
歷史背景：機遇與毀滅中誕生的佛國

廢墟上重建：太武帝去世後，其子文成帝即位，為安撫民心、穩固政權，隨即下令恢復佛教，雲岡石窟便是在佛教的廢墟上，以國家工程的名義開啟的偉大復興。

山西是保留着華夏千年“根脉”的古建大省，而陕西则是濃缩了周秦漢唐辉煌的“天然歷史博物館”。
山西，古建築的“大地博物馆”被譽為“五千年文明看山西” 它的文化精髓是中華戲曲的摇藍，商幫文化的晋商大院，與各地麫食技藝，共同構成了山西的文化内核。
文旅從“根祖文化”到感受晋商傳奇、邊塞豪情，與當之無愧的“的特色面食如刀削面、剔尖、抿尖、莜面栲栳栳、猫耳朵等等。

另關於清順治皇帝在五台山出家的故事，簡短的回答是：這是一個流傳甚廣的民間傳說，但並非歷史事實。多項史料和清史學界的主流觀點均證實，順治帝並未出家，而是因罹患天花，在24歲時於皇宮內駕崩。
然而，多項可靠的歷史記錄卻提供了相反的結論：
官方記錄：《清世祖實錄》明確記載順治帝於順治十八年（1661年）正月初七「崩於養心殿」。
細節。
學者考證：著名歷史學家孟森先生詳細考證後得出結論，這也是目前清史學界公認的看法。
因此，歷史上真正的順治帝從未去過五台山，更沒有在那裡出家為僧。
五台山是「清皇朝別院」嗎？
雖然順治出家的傳說是假的但清朝皇室與五台山的關係極為緊密，五台山在清朝具有類似「皇家寺院」的尊崇地位。其中位於靈鷲峰上的菩薩頂（即文殊菩薩居住處），地位尤其特殊。
雍正 ,乾龍’嘉興皇家石碑柱,印證…皇家聖地
主要是殿宇規格覆蓋代表皇權的黃色,且菩薩頂是清代皇帝朝拜五台山時的專用行宮，康熙帝五次巡幸（四次下榻），乾隆帝六次禮佛加上
御筆昀寺內外牌坊的「靈峰勝境」等匾額，均為康熙帝親筆題寫。
加上菩薩頂統管五台山漢藏佛教事務，是清廷「懷柔蒙古、西藏」等邊疆民族政策的重要一環。
簡而言之，五台山（特別是菩薩頂）是清朝皇室極度尊崇和支持的宗教聖地，地位尊貴，不過民間傳說雖賦予了這段歷史浪漫的演繹，但真實的歷史同樣充滿了權謀、情感與信仰的交織。

長安..今天西安2019
西安歷經玄武門之變（626年）、安史之亂（755年）、西安事變（1936年）等重大歷史事件，留下豐富的歷史遺績。加之眾多重要考古發現，如大明宮、大雁塔、兵馬俑、華清池等歷史地標及騰雲駕霧如入仙境的華山，使得今日的西安以“長安遺韻”聞名。作為古代中國政治、經濟的中心，西安同時也是世界文明的交匯點，蘊含深厚文化底蘊。這座城市多年來一直是我夢寐以求的旅遊勝地 ,期望在此次短暫行程中，能夠深入了解其悠久的歷史與豐富的文化內涵。
入住於西安希爾頓酒店，一踏入大堂便感受到濃厚的歷史氛圍，古意盎然令人心生敬意。安頓下來時已是傍晚，便依照網上熱門推薦尋找晚餐地點，卻因滿座無法入內，只好隨意在附近尋找。意外地，這次隨興的選擇帶來了驚喜，當地小店的美味和熱情服務讓人留下深刻印象，也讓這次的西安之旅印象更加難忘。.
不得其門而入的醉長安
徘徊在附近，穿過一排排的樓房，仔細尋找下終於找到此合適的地方享用晚膳 ,好味道及價錢合理, 不俗。
驚喜的甜品….
飯後急不及待到西安城下的夜市逛逛，街道兩旁擺滿了各式各樣的小吃攤，熱氣騰騰的羊肉串和陣陣香味讓人食指大動。這裡充滿傳統市井氣息，熱鬧而富有生活氣息，攤販們熱情地吆喝，遊客們穿梭其中，感受著古城獨特的魅力。可惜今夜天公不作美，細細的微雨瀰漫在空氣中，然而雨中的夜市別有一番滋味，燈光映照在雨水濕潤的石板路上，更添了幾分詩意與靜謐，讓人忍不住放慢腳步，細細品味這座城市的夜晚韻味。
目不睱及的小食對於一向小心控制份量進食的我來說，偶爾放鬆一下其實並無大礙。偶然嘗試一點各種不同的小吃，不僅滿足味蕾，還能體驗多樣的風味，這種「小小嘗試」的心態讓用餐變得更加有趣且不拘泥。試試看各種口味的小分量，享受美食小餘也大開眼早，管不了!
知道體力的需要，所以先登西安華山，體會其獨特的自然景觀和深厚的文化底蘊。從索道登山經過玉泉院，再從金鎖關獨步登山至景觀台，沿途感受到氣勢如虹的氣息。這不僅是一次體力的挑戰，更是心靈的洗禮，讓人深刻感受到華山壯麗的山勢和歷史的沉澱，留下難忘的旅遊經驗。

到達南峰的壯觀令人難以忘懷。站在峰頂，四周的山脈如波浪般展開，雲海在腳下翻滾，彷彿置身於仙境。陽光灑在岩石上，閃耀著金色光芒，空氣清新而冰涼，每一次呼吸都感受到大自然的恢宏力量。這一刻的寧靜與壯麗，讓人深刻體會到登頂的不易與成就感，也讓人心靈獲得前所未有的釋放與震撼。
下山後當然擺出一道威風凜凜的架步，盡情一展身手，展現出自己鍛鍊已久的瑜珈與風采。
在山腳下嘗試一下樸實無華的農家菜，不僅可以品味地道的美味，還能深入體會當地淳樸的民風和生活韻味。
回程的路上，我們隨意找了一家地道的火鍋店，藉此補充一下元氣，火鍋品質和服務讓人感到非常滿意和舒心。

發現葬坑的農民.???.
當然，華清池不僅是唐代皇家園林的經典代表，更是唐玄宗與楊貴妃那段愛情故事的真實見證。“平時十月幸蘭湯，玉甃瓊梁”以及“春寒賜浴華清池，溫泉水滑洗凝脂”這些詩句生動描繪了當年華清池的風華絕代。來到西安，如果不親自參觀這裡，感受並分享這段凄美而動人的愛情故事，實在令人難以滿足旅途的完整體驗。
西安事變，是中國歷史上的一個重要轉折點，也是近代史的一個重要見證。世人對此事自然各有不同的判斷和看法。蔣介石與張學良之間的恩怨，不僅包含了熱血與理想的交織，也充滿了權謀的算計和無奈的妥協。這場事件最終不僅加速了全民族的抗戰進程，也深刻改寫了當事人的命運，同時展示了強烈的歷史張力與複雜性。
最後的一天，在長安城牆上俯瞰西安那居高臨下的壯麗風貌，心中不禁回想起當年禾口豐盛、風華絕代的歷史光景。傍晚時分，在酒店內悠閒用餐，滿懷不捨的情感告別這片充滿古韻的土地。真心希望未來有機會能再度重臨這座古城，再次細細品味今次留下的美好回憶。

餘下的美食美境抵消所有疲憊，盛放的櫻花、西湖淮河的盪漾、燕京的淒美一一留下美麗的一頁。

Punta Cana has been our top choice for family vacations over the past five years, and I am grateful to my in-laws for researching and comparing options_ ensuring that every trip, with kids and friend in tow, has been nothing short of wonderful.
The sun and sand here have become the backdrop of our children’s happiest, healthiest childhood memories, while the adults get to unwind and escape the grind of daily life. Best of all, it’s surprisingly affordable, making it an easy pick for us year after year.
This time, we stayed at Ocean EL Faro Resort, where the sunshine was as generous as ever. The only downside was the seaweed covering much of the beach, making swimming less ideal as past years experience, though strolling barefoot along the shore, feeling the ocean breeze, was still lovely.

A Show is on…Lion Dance
Foshan, renowned for its martial arts heritage, Cantonese opera , and culinary delights , offers a rich cultural experience. The city boasts exceptional cuisine , quaint architecture , unique shops , and museums dedicated to legendary Kung Fu masters Huang Feihong and Ip Man. Notably, Foshan is also celebrated for its lion dance and dragon boat traditions. For a 1-2 day tour , consider visiting the Ancestral Hall and Zumiao. With my 2024 short visit this time, sure looking forward for another visit in future.

Chick- in Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for two nights, satisfactory service with comfort spacious room which makeup for minor front desk deficiencies ; because the front desk area is far too small as a 5 stars-hotel operation , plus the breakfast specifications did not meet my requirements .😁 However a comfort space just right outside the entrance of the hotel for a homeless cat leaves me speechless😆

Penang , a Malaysian state on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia along the Strait of Malacca , consists of two interconnected parts: Penang Island and The Heritage GerogeTown, its capital. On my travels from Canada , I always enjoy stopping by Penang, alongside Singapore. Having visited eight years ago, I wonder how it has changed. Previously, I was drawn to its distinctive Colonial architecture, which stirred nostalgic memories. Regrettably, this visit has not matched the excitement of my previous experience, as the environment remains largely unchanged or mildly improved, and the influx of tourists, particularly from China, has introduced traffic chaos and overcrowding, altering the tranquil atmosphere I once knew. Nevertheless I still enjoy touring myself this time to my favorite sites once engaged deeply…

The next stop at The Peranakans, Baba’s and Nyonya’s Museum, over 1000 pieces of antiques and collectibles of the era on display, having survived the many decades of neglect and decay, the mansion has now been restored to its former glory of a stately home. That’s why I urged to visit one more time after 8 years.

In addition, adjacent to the mansion stood the ancestral hall, paying tribute to Chung Keng Quee, the venerable ancestor and his family lineage. This estate was uniquely inherited by 5 heirs, , a rare exception to Chinese cultural norms. Following years of neglect, fell into disrepair, a property developer revitalized the estate in the 1990s, who subsequently transformed it into a museum showcasing Penang’s Peranakan heritage. So we are all welcome here to enjoy and tour the good old days.

Next , we proceed to the renowned Heritage Attraction, The Blue House Mansion of Cheong Fatt Tze, a prominent landmark in Geroge Town, Penang. Now it is transformed into a boutique hotel and historical site. The Mansion ‘s narrative began in the late 19th Century when cheong Fatt Tze envisioned a majestic and elegant residence for his heirs. However following his passing in 1916, the estate fell into disrepair, and plus the death of his last son, only to be later acquired by conservationists who meticulously restored it. Today 2024 I have the pleasure of revisit and indulging in the exceptional fusion cuisine at Indigo restaurant, arguably Penang’s must try dining experience, with the added benefit of waived entrance fees for lunch and dinner patrons, an undeniably reasonable offer.

Following You-tube recommendations , my Penang breakfast was a resounding success. The small lane -side establishment , popular daily despite opening after 8 am, serves meticulously prepare food. The well- trained staffs ‘s efficiency and courteous demeanor impressed, considering the humble street food ambiance, this underscores the modern consumer’s appreciation for quality and refined service.

Revisiting Hainan , now Wenchang town, for the second time, allowed me to trace the footsteps of late in- laws and my sister-in laws , offering more than just a visit but a profound experience of their hardships and passions. It’s in these moments of reflection that we truly appreciate the resilience and unity that binds us across generations.
